Both Jaiden Ausberry and Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa had strong play that was crucial to keeping Navy's run game in check, which struggled to create through the air without star QB Blake Horvath. CJ Carr finished 13-of-16 for 218 yards, 3 passing TDs and a 257.6 passer rating, the first time a Notre Dame freshman QB has done so since at least 1995.
